Fit-Ups & Light Commercial
Tenant fit-ups, office and retail build-outs and small commercial buildings, delivered on a schedule your landlord and your opening date can live with.
Suazo Contracting is a commercial general contractor for light commercial work in Raleigh, Knightdale and Wake County. We handle tenant improvements, office and retail fit-ups, restaurant back-of-house work, workshops and small freestanding commercial buildings.
Holding both the North Carolina general contractor license and an electrical contractor license lets us self-perform the framing, finishes and electrical, which on a fit-up is most of the job. Fewer subs means fewer scheduling gaps and a faster opening.
Recent commercial jobs include work at a Capital Bank branch, interior painting in a commercial space and a parking lot paved and striped around new EV chargers. See them in our commercial project photos.
We also work with property owners and investors on commercial renovations, the same way we partner with residential investors on fix and flip projects.

Local Knowledge
Commercial permits in Raleigh go through the city's Development Services, and Knightdale projects through the Town of Knightdale. Commercial work is reviewed against the NC Building Code published by the Office of State Fire Marshal, and we coordinate fire, electrical and building inspections.
New retail and flex space is going up along Highway 64 and in downtown Knightdale, and small business owners need a contractor who can finish a fit-up before the free rent period runs out. That is the work we are built for.

Light commercial: tenant fit-ups, office and retail build-outs, restaurants, workshops and small freestanding buildings. We are honest when a project is bigger than our crew.
