New Home Construction
From the first site walk to the final walkthrough, one licensed crew builds your home on your lot, on your plans, at a pace you can follow.
Suazo Contracting Company is a custom home builder in Knightdale, NC that handles new home construction from the first survey stake to the last coat of paint. Ramon Suazo holds a North Carolina general contractor license and an electrical license, so the structure, the wiring and the finishes are planned by the same person who shows up on site.
We build on your lot or help you find one. Most of our new homes go up in eastern Wake County, in Zebulon, Wendell, Rolesville and Knightdale itself, where land is still available and the drive to downtown Raleigh is under half an hour.
You get one point of contact, a written schedule and photo updates as the framing goes up. No layers of project managers, no surprises at the draw.

How It Works
Local Knowledge
Building in Wake County means permits through Wake County Planning and Development or, inside town limits, the Town of Knightdale Development Services office. We handle the submittals, the inspections and the questions that come up between them.
Knightdale has grown fast along Highway 64 and Old Knight Road, and the lots that remain are often odd shaped or wooded. We have built on sloped lots, narrow infill lots and acreage outside town, and we tell you up front what the site will add to the budget.

Most of our single-family homes take seven to ten months from permit to certificate of occupancy. Site work, weather and selections all move that number, and you get a written schedule before we break ground.
Yes. We build on lots you already own in Knightdale, Zebulon, Wendell, Rolesville, Wake Forest and across Wake and Johnston counties. If you have not found land yet, we will walk candidate lots with you before you buy.
Not necessarily. We work from stock plans, plans you bring us or a set we have drawn for you. Either way the plans are reviewed for the NC residential code before they go to the county.
We do. Suazo Contracting holds a North Carolina electrical contractor license (#L.39670) in addition to the general contractor license, so the wiring is not subcontracted.
Yes, and most clients do. Each change gets a written change order with the cost and schedule impact before the work happens, so there are no surprises at the end.
Every home comes with our 1-year workmanship warranty plus the manufacturer warranties on roofing, windows, appliances and systems.
