Kitchen Remodel Contractor

Kitchen Remodeling In Raleigh & Knightdale, NC

Bright, open kitchens with real islands, better light and storage that works, built by the same crew that handles the wall removal and the wiring.

Suazo Contracting handles kitchen remodeling in Raleigh, Knightdale and across Wake County. Most of the kitchens we remodel start out closed off from the rest of the house, so the job usually includes taking down a wall, running new circuits for the island and lighting, and laying flooring that connects the whole main level.

Because Ramon Suazo holds a North Carolina electrical license as well as the general contractor license, the under-cabinet lighting, the dedicated appliance circuits and the panel work are done by our own crew. That keeps the schedule tight and the inspections clean.

Local Knowledge

Kitchen Remodeling Across Wake County

Kitchen remodels that move plumbing, add circuits or remove walls need a permit from the City of Raleigh or your town. Many contractors skip it. We do not, because an unpermitted kitchen becomes a problem the day you sell the house.

Raleigh and Knightdale homes from the 1980s and 1990s often have a galley kitchen boxed in by a load-bearing wall. We have opened dozens of them, and we can usually tell you on the first visit whether the wall is structural and what the beam will cost.
