Garage Builder In Raleigh & Knightdale, NC

Detached garages, workshops and garage additions with the slab, framing, overhead doors and electrical all handled by one licensed crew.

Suazo Contracting builds garages in Raleigh, Knightdale and across eastern Wake County. Two and three-car detached garages, workshops with tall doors for a truck or boat, and attached garage additions with a bonus room above are all projects we have completed recently.

A garage is simple to build badly and surprisingly hard to build well. We pour a reinforced slab with proper footings, frame to the residential code, insulate when you ask for it and run the electrical ourselves under license #L.39670, including 240-volt outlets for welders, compressors and EV chargers.

Many of our garage clients are in Zebulon, Wendell and Clayton, where lots are large enough for a real workshop.

Local Knowledge

Garages & Workshops Across Wake County

Detached buildings in Wake County need a zoning permit for setbacks and a building permit for anything over 12 feet by 12 feet. We check your lot with Wake County Planning or your town and file both permits.

Outside the town limits of Knightdale and Zebulon, many properties sit on an acre or more, which is why detached workshops are one of our most requested projects there.

Yes. We trench the feed, set a subpanel and wire the lights and outlets under our own electrical license.

We focus on stick-framed garages and workshops that match the home. If a metal building is the right fit we will tell you.
